HOPE FOR UKRAINE

You're sitting in your home reading Psalm 23 with the sounds of gunfire and bombing in the distance...

In the middle of such life-threatening danger when overwhelming fear is paralyzing you, seeds of Hope are being planted in your heart. This is what's happening in Eastern Ukraine today.

Young men and women are bringing Hope Bible magazines to soldiers and refugees on the front lines. They are answering the call of Christ to share the gospel--and risking their lives to do it.

Alexey Youditsenko is a young man who travels to areas devastated by war to share copies of God's Word, along with food and clothing. Despite the bulletproof vest he wears, Alexey understands the danger he is in every time he goes to the front lines to share the gospel...

We went to one village where there was no food and no water. As we arrived at the village, shooting started. One bomb fell about 50 yards away. We weren't afraid for our lives, but for the lives of the people we had brought supplies for.

One man who saw the explosion said he wished he would just die. When we gave him a Hope magazine, tears streamed down his face. "You can die here," he said. "Why did you come here?" We told him, "We are Christians who have brought the Word for you."

Impact the nation of Ukraine with the message of Hope. Donate today to equip evangelists like Alexey who are quickly running out of the Scriptures they need to share the gospel in the war zones.

Alcoholism is their number one problem; we would often see young people with drinks in hand early in the day in public places. On two occasions we prayed for these young people; they became instantly alert and were pleased to receive the gift of the New Testament. Read More
