Dr. Alan Anderson


Alan brings decades of experience with a dedicated focus on leadership and ministry. Alan graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Biochemistry, received an MBA at the University of Washington in 1984, and a Master's of Divinity degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in 1999. He finished his D.Min in leadership from Gordon-Conwell Seminary in 2007 and has served as an adjunct faculty member at Tyndale Seminary since 2009. He brings a great mix of leadership, operational experience, a history of establishing sustainability and passion for training and development.

Kevin Cawthra

VP of Business & Communications

Kevin is the head of our Business team, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CA, CPA). He’s spent over 12 years in senior not-for-profit CFO and COO roles, and prior to that 4 years in the fields of public accounting, audit and taxation. He and his wife Helen lead their local Gideons chapter in Cambridge, Ontario; and they also have three sons in their family of five.

Giorgio brings a 20 year-track record of success in business, breakthrough marketing, and fundraising with market leaders like PepsiCo and Nestlé and not-for-profits like the Canadian Bible Society. For five years, he also headed up a community-based church. Giorgio helps people and organizations achieve their goals and dreams, with incredible results. He speaks (in five languages), authors, strategizes, mentors, and motivates. He now resides in Breslau, Ontario with his lovely wife Jacqueline.

Dave birthed his career as an entrepreneur for nine years. His career continued as an award-winning senior manager in the corporate environment having specialized in sales, sales management, and general branch management. While his experience in the for-profit sector is extensive, his passion for Christian ministry is even stronger. Consequently, Dave holds a Bachelor of Theology degree from the University of Chester and has served with Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM), expanding the ministry there through church networking, event planning and campus ministries. Specialities include team building and building teams. He is married to his wife, Jacinda, and together they have 6 children.

With her passion to get the gospel message out, Michelle is a perfect fit to manage our Communications department. She has over 10 years of experience in marketing and team management. Michelle comes from a background in both the oil and tech industries, as well as involvement in video production and media. She now calls Kitchener, Ontario home with her husband Ernie and their two dogs.

Kelvin has been with The Gideons since the fall of 2008 and has worn many hats, including design, writing, and management. He is currently responsible for producing contextualized Scripture tools to engage people all over the world with the truth and hope of the gospel with innovations like the NewLife app and Scripture magazines. Prior to coming to The Gideons, Kelvin had 14 years of experience designing and writing in the Christian publishing and retail marketing world. He lives in Elmira, Ontario with his wife Julie and their dog, Sasha.

Artur has been deeply involved in ministry life for the past 17 years, serving in many positions in pastoral and leadership roles. Including a number of international opportunities such as the Mobilization Coordinator for Reach Beyond Canada. Artur graduated from World of Life Biblical Seminary in Brazil with a Bachelor of Theology in 2008 and received his Master of Theological Studies' degree from Heritage Seminary in Cambridge, ON in 2016. He brings a great mix of leadership, international experience and passion to see God's Kingdom expanding to all nations. Artur and his wife, Andrea live in Breslau, ON, where they hope to grow their family soon.
