Veronika's Story
Young people in Eastern Europe are desperate for hope. Suffering from the effects of Communist rule, alcoholism and family dysfunction, they’re searching for purpose and meaning that’s only available in Jesus Christ.
Veronika, a passionate young believer in Russia, no longer wants to see hopelessness stealing the lives of her friends. On an average day, about five Russians under the age of 20 take their own lives. Russia has the third-highest teen suicide rate in the world.
Eager to share the hope of Christ with friends, Veronika and hundreds of youth like her are desperate for Bibles to share the gospel.
“Many students can’t read of God’s wonderful love because they do not have a Bible,” Veronika says. “I want to see the youth of Eastern Europe changed by God’s Word. Please help us share the Good News today.”
